About Charles Sniffen, Esq.

Mr. Sniffen was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1997, and has worked as a trial lawyer in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit since 1999.

Mr. Sniffen's trial experience is extensive and varied; Mr. Sniffen has conducted more than forty jury trials and hundreds of bench trials in criminal, civil and probate matters. Mr. Sniffen has tried cases in both the County and Circuit Court of every County within the 12th Judicial Circuit.

Raised in New York City, Mr. Sniffen has been a full-time resident of Florida since 1994. Mr. Sniffen began his career as a trial lawyer in Miami-Dade County, where he practiced general civil litigation with the firm of Ferdie & Gouz in Coral Gables.

Mr. Sniffen has lived and worked in the Sarasota-Bradenton area since 1999, and served the community an Assistant State Attorney from 1999-2005. As a prosecutor, Mr. Sniffen handled cases in both juvenile and adult court, dealing with charges ranging from misdemeanors such as DUI and Domestic Battery, to felonies including Arson, Drug Trafficking and Murder.

In 2005, Mr. Sniffen joined the highly respected Bradenton trial firm of Harllee & Bald, P.A. where he practiced civil litigation and criminal defense until founding the Law Office of Charles Sniffen, P.A. in 2007.
